Antique Georgian Natural Hand Carved Mediterranean Coral Gold Gilded Bracelet

This is a gorgeous antique Georgian era, at the very least, early Victorian, before 1850 gold gilded carved Mediterranean coral bracelet. The deep rich gold over the bronze or brass is probably done using the ormolu process (a paste made of pure gold powder and mercury gets fired onto bronze) The mercury gets burned off in the process so the surface is a thin layer rich 24k color pure gold
The natural Mediterranean coral is a salmon red color. A couple of the carvings are different in style than the others, perhaps they were replaced at some point. I am not sure
The bracelet measures about 7″ inches long by 1″ inch wide.
It is in very good condition considering it is about 200 years old. The clasp snaps shut and is quite secure. If you do not have a longer thumbnail to press the clasp down about 2mm, it is a bit of a challenge to get off. It will not come off by itself. The gold gilding has worn off a bit in the back, especially the back of the clasp
