"Red Coral" – hand dyed rug hooking wool fabric – (1) Fat Quarter 100% Wool

Description

Beautiful hand dyed 100% wool fabric for rug hooking, penny rugs,
applique and many other projects. This wool is hand-dyed in color known
as “Red Coral”, a nice combination of bright red and brick red.  This series is from my gemstone collection and is available in 4 values – light, medium light, medium dark, dark, or a bundle of all 4 values.  This listing is for (1) fat quarter of any values or the bundle of all 4 colors which is 1/16th yard of each value totaling one fat quarter.  My dye process allows for lots of
movement, mottling, marbled effect and a spot dye all together on one
beautiful piece of wool. Each fat quarter or 1/4 yard piece measures 18″ x
26″ after washing and drying. Additional sizes are available, just ask. Custom dye orders are welcome,
including dying whipping yarn to match.
Wool is very soft and
smooth, very nice to work with, and cuts like butter. All dying is done
right here on the farm in my studio. After the wool is dyed, it is
then washed with eucalan soap and dried to give it that soft fluffy
feel. Our wool comes from a smoke-free environment, but very pet
friendly. Your wool is ready to use.
A fat quarter measures
18×30 inches before washing. Wool is a natural fiber, therefore it does
shrink during the dye/wash process. Finished sizes will vary due to
different wools. Please feel free to email with any questions, or if
